A good friend of ours who loves animals was walking through a parking lot recently and spotted two dogs in the back of a truck who desperately wanted to say hello.
One dog was a Jack Russell terrier and the other was a Welsh Corgi. They wiggled and jumped and generally expressed their appreciation for his visit. He greeted them with a pat on each head and said, "Hi, Jack. Hi, Cory."

When I saw a hit from someone in Wyoming I had to come visit... Where do I begin?! You are adorable and a wonderful writer (I think I read every post;). I love the story of you and your cowboy (I married a much older man too- Dan is 7 years older;) That you were once a vegetarian and now live on a cattle ranch and embrace all it has to offer is just classic- life "is" fuuny how it works out, yes?! I love all your sweet dogs and that Jack has learned to love them too. And, then to top it off you're from Maine! So you know how amazing all the libraries are in the NE. The first thing I did when we moved here was go to our town library and get my card.... something I didn't have in Dallas, but here it just seemed the right thing to do!
I've really enjoyed reading about all your adventures on the ranch- y'all seem such a fun and special couple!
